I'm Growing A Star

I 'm growing a star that is very bright,
Glowing in my garden each and every night.
It started out as a pack of seeds,
Growing flowers, but not weeds.
One night I was sleeping in my bed,
Imagining thoughts in my teeny tiny head.
I saw something outside my window,
It was a star aglow.
I got out of my bed and started getting dressed,
I couldn't find the star and started getting stressed.
As I looked through the dark velvet sky,
I spotted a glow with my eye.
I followed the glow as I walked into sand,
It had grown into a star, and then I stretched it like a rubber band.
And I picked the starflower!
