North Star Musical Journey: Creators

The North Star Musical Journey was composed by Tim Beckman. This spectacular ten song event, based on award-winning children's author, Peter Reynolds' inspirational book, The North Star, was performed by 300 children to a sold out crowd.

Tim Beckman has been inspiring children, and his educational colleagues, for eighteen years as a music teacher and school administrator. Peter H. Reynolds, Author/Illustrator

Peter H. Reynolds is the author and illustrator of The North Star, among many other children's stories and books, such as The Dot, Ish, So Few of Me, My Very Big Little World and The Best Kid in the World... as well as the award winning animated films, The Blue Shoe and Living Forever. He is also the illustrator of the acclaimed Judy Moody series of chapter books for young readers, and Judy Blume's recent children's book, Double Fudge.
